For over two decades, Hazrat Shah Saqlain Academy of India has been dedicated to serving the underprivileged with dignity and selflessness. Unlike traditional charities, we operate without external donations—every initiative is fully funded and managed by the Academy itself.

Patron Saint & Mentor

The grandson of a Saint and son of a Sufi exists with a purpose to transform generations through mentorship, emotional support, exposure to constructive experiences and spiritually lasting relationships. People are accorded hope, vision and opportunity from such noble enlightened individuals, in a secure spiritual environment.

Shaykh Mohammed Saqlain Miyan, our Founder And Patron, has been the Custodian of Aastana e Sharafatiya in Bareilly, India. He aimed to bridge the gap between spirituality and intellectuality, orthodoxy and moderation, divine love and worldly love. The sentence – “A truly amazing mentor is hard to find and impossible to forget” – perfects his stature with his simplicity, humbleness, an easy going demeanour and accessibility to any individual who wants to meet him and also effortless to speak to him, with his patient hearing. The more one got to know him, the more he admired him and was enticed by his saintly virtues.

Our Custodian

Mohammad Ghazi Saqlaini Mujaddidi Qadri, Hafizahullah : Custodian of Khanqaah e Saqalainiya Sharafatiya Mujaddidiya Quadriya, Bareilly Shareef.

Stepping into this revered role on 22nd October, 2023, after the sudden demise of his Father and Spiritual Guide Shaykh Mohammed Saqlain Miyan Huzoor Rahmatullahi ta’ala alaihi, he brings with him, a profound sense of dedication, wisdom, and humility, embodying the sacred values upheld by our cherished monastery, inherited from the Holy Saints of this Silsila and especially his Shaykh.

Major Milestones

Annual Mass Marriage Ceremony

Over the past 20+ years, we have hosted annual mass marriage events, uniting 5,000+ couples in dignified ceremonies. Each couple receives over 50 essential household items, setting them on the path to a respectful and supported life together.

Konkan Flood Relief – 2021

When floods devastated Chiplun, Khed, Ratnagiri, and Raigad, our team delivered 1,000+ relief kits (25kg each) and served freshly prepared meals on-ground. We stood by affected families, bringing hope and essential aid in their darkest hours.

Covid-19 Relief Mission

During the peak of the pandemic, for 3 consecutive months, we provided hygienic fresh meals twice daily to nearly 500 people daily. Additionally, 1,000+ ration kits were distributed across Mumbai, ensuring no one went hungry. Our field team actively assessed and assisted the most affected areas.

Our Initiatives

Guided by compassion and an unwavering commitment to service, our Academy runs a variety of impactful initiatives throughout the year — all without seeking any donations. From supporting newlyweds to aiding students and empowering women, we work tirelessly to uplift the underprivileged, irrespective of religion, caste, sect, or gender.

Medical Aid Support

We provide medical assistance to over 50+ poor and needy individuals annually by helping with hospital bills, treatment costs, or essential medicines. Our goal is to ensure no one is denied proper healthcare due to financial hardship.

Ration Kits Distribution

Every year, we distribute 650+ ration kits in Mumbai alone, containing essentials like rice, pulses, flour, and oil. These kits ensure that families in need never go hungry during times of hardship. Relief kits are also provided in times of natural calamities and crises.

School Fee Assistance

We cover the school fees of underprivileged students, ensuring that financial hardship never stands in the way of education. Our aim is to open doors for a brighter, more stable future for the next generation by supporting their learning journey and nurturing their potential to succeed.

Nourishing Lives Naturally

We distribute fresh fruits to the poor and needy in government hospitals, old age homes, and orphanages where elders are left behind. Each fruit is shared with love and compassion, without bias towards religion, caste, or gender, ensuring dignity for those often forgotten.

Uniform & Book Aid

Every year, we provide free school uniforms and study materials to students in need. Equipping them with the basics, This support fosters a sense of belonging and encourages students to pursue their academic goals without worry.

Women Empowerment

We empower divorced and needy women by distributing sewing machines that enable them to earn through tailoring from home. This initiative helps them regain independence, support their families, and live with dignity, fostering self-reliance and hope for a better future.
